CHEMICAL COMPOSITION
- A mixture of surfactants and water soluble salts
Application technology is based on delivery of solid candles in the downhole, containing a mixture of active surfactants. Upon candle dissolution, the surfactant goes into aqueous solution. Surfactant solution bubbling with gas leads to formation of foam and bringing to the surface. If sufficient amount of gas is supplied into the well and in case of water proportion of more than 40% of the total well fluid, a suitable amount of surfactant solution may extract virtually all fluid. A prerequisite is water presence in the well and sufficient gas flow.
The main action of CFC – foaming of a variety of fluids in wells (e.g., gas condensate, oil, water, emulsion). An important feature of foam candles – their possible use for treatment of hard-to-access wells, ease of storage and transportation. The application of candles replaces a special crew of workers and equipment.

APPLICATION TECHNOLOGY
- Close the flow line
- Manually drop the estimated number of candles through a lubricator
- Close the well, wait until candles reach the fluid surface and 1.5 hours for reacting
- Gradually put the well on production
